Wafik Faltas
Wafik was born and raised in Egypt within a Christian family and committed his life to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior at the age of 18. His early years in ministry were marked by dedicated service to children and youth, culminating in the establishment of a young adult ministry at his local church with the support of fellow believers.
Academically, Wafik holds a bachelor’s degree in Tourism and Hotel Management, with a focus on Egyptology and Archaeology. He has accumulated over 16 years of experience in the tourism and travel industry, working in various roles. Additionally, he holds certifications in Retail Management and Project Management, as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Education. Currently, he is pursuing a master’s degree in ministry and theology.
In 2013, Wafik joined Haggai International’s Middle East team, where he played a pivotal role in managing both administrative and operational functions. In 2021, he relocated to the United States to join the global Haggai team and now serves as Program Operations Manager at the organization’s headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia.
Wafik is married to Becky Ernst, who also serves at Haggai International. Together, they are deeply involved in the youth ministry at their local Arabic church in Atlanta.
